Dotcms - theme: class completion & oauth plugin

Hi dotCMS community :waving_hand: ,

I’m testing dotCMS for our project and have two quick questions:

  1. Layout Customization: How can I enable CSS class autocompletion for users when editing layouts? I followed the docs but couldn’t get it to work.

  2. Keycloak Authentication: I tried the OAuth plugin (I use Keycloak for central auth), but it didn’t work out of the box. Should I build a custom solution, or is there a better approach?

Details:

  • dotCMS version: 25.07.10_lts_v4

  • docker compose

Hi Simon, on the second one - Will took a look and his advice is to take the OAuth plugin and customize it to your specific need. The other approach you could take is to use Keycloak + SAML. Hope this helps, let us know how it works out and if you run into other issues here.

Regarding the first question, Jalinson will post a video soon that should help you out.
